Hull
Positioned on the Humber with direct access to 10 working berths, our Hull operation is equipped to handle larger vessels and higher-volume cargo flows. The port offers extensive covered storage, including 433,000 ft² of sheds with capacities ranging from 1,500 to 30,000 tonnes of light, bulky product, alongside an all-weather terminal that enables uninterrupted discharge of bulk and breakbulk cargoes in any conditions. Hull provides TASCC and FIAS-compliant storage, ensuring full regulatory compliance for feed and food-related cargoes.
At Hull, we utilise grab-box loading as a tool for bulk export operations, allowing cargo to be loaded with virtually zero product loss. Twin boxes enable non-stop loading, achieving high throughput of up to 3,000 tonnes per 12 hours. This approach also allows TASCC materials to be safely loaded on non-TASCC approved quays, providing a safer, more controlled alternative to traditional tipping on an open quay.
The site also houses our mobile bagging and screening plant, supporting operations such as:
- Mobile bagging and screening of 600–1,000 kg bags
- Destuffing containers
- Rip and tip of big bags and 25 kg packs
- Product grinding
With quay infrastructure capable of accommodating vessels up to 199 m LOA, 25.5 m beam and 10.4 m draft at King George Dock, Hull provides a robust, high-throughput solution for bulk materials and complex cargo handling.
